Type 3 Composite Pressure Vessels

Pressura manufactures Type 3 pressure vessels with metal liners and composite reinforcement for safe and efficient storage and transportation of high-pressure gases.

Designed for CNG, hydrogen and cryogenic gas applications, these vessels are developed to meet relevant standards and customer requirements, with a focus on high mechanical strength, low weight and long service life.

Design, material selection, manufacturing and testing are carried out as an integrated process using Pressura’s engineering capabilities.

  • A wide volume range from 3 L to 375 L.
  • Composite pressure vessels up to 600 mm in diameter and 3,750 mm in length.
  • Winding capability with carbon, glass, aramid and other fibres.

Type 4 Composite Pressure Vessels

Pressura specialises in the design and manufacture of Type 4 composite pressure vessels, particularly for CNG and hydrogen applications. Combining a polymer liner with a high-strength composite structure, these vessels offer a 75% weight advantage over conventional metal tanks and provide reliable, long-lasting storage under high pressure.

Vessel solutions for trucks, buses, tractors, construction equipment, marine vessels and light commercial vehicles are developed for each customer, taking capacity, pressure, geometric constraints and operating conditions into account. Pressura Type 4 CNG vessels hold UN ECE R110 type approval certification.

  • Type 4 composite pressure vessels up to 375 L with a diameter of Ø402 mm under ECE R110.
  • A wide volume range from 3 L to 375 L.
  • Composite pressure vessels up to 600 mm in diameter and 3,750 mm in length.
  • Winding capability with carbon, glass, aramid and other fibres.
